How to Stay Hydrated (Besides Drinking Water)
A few weeks ago we gave you some tips on how much water to drink to stay adequately hydrated. Today, we have some tips on one of our other favorite ways to stay hydrated, and guess what? It tastes delicious too!
One of the best ways to stay hydrated (and healthy) is to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Those with the highest water content are fruits and veggies like strawberries, watermelon, peaches, cantaloupe, cucumbers, lettuce, celery, radishes, tomatoes, and bell peppers, to name a few. Not only will these foods help keep you hydrated, they are also loaded with essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Below are some ways you can sneak some more of these hydrating fruits and veggies into your daily life.
Start the day with a smoothie.
Blend up your favorite fruits or vegetables to make a refreshing on-the-go breakfast or fun after-school snack. Remember to pack these smoothies with lots of fruits and veggies that are high in water content to really reap the hydrating benefits. Try one of our favorites:

Need something a little heartier than a salad? Soups are a nutritious and delicious way to pack in more veggies and more water. They are also a super easy to make ahead of time so you always have a healthy lunch or dinner ready to go in minutes.
