Meet the Kids
We ask CYCLE Kids students “What does it mean to be a CYCLE Kid?” In their own words, the students tells us what they’ve learned about safety, nutrition, and heart health. Many talk about learning new things, making new friends, and gaining confidence! Here’s one of our favorite essays:
“Being a CYCLE Kid means keeping your body healthy! Exercise, Exercise, Exercise! Also eat a lot of healthy food and only a few unhealthy foods. Always be safe! Always wear your helmet and watch out for cars and check both of your sides before you start riding! That’s what it means to be a CYCLE Kid.”
— Endea, Grade 5
These kids are the continuing inspiration in all we do. Check out the posters from our annual contest, and let their essays introduce themselves in their own words. In the profiles below, meet a few of our exceptional “CYCLE Kids” and read a winning essay.
