Specialized Donates 30 Bikes Through Their “Likes for Bikes” Campaign

Specialized culminated a three-month Facebook campaign to benefit CYCLE Kids by presenting us with 30 bicycles at our First Annual Gala Event. This generous donation will enable CYCLE Kids to launch three new programs in Cambridge schools, teaching kids not only how to ride bikes, but a valuable curriculum that includes nutrition, literacy, safety, and confidence. These programs will have a positive impact on hundreds of kids over the next decade.

The partnership between Specialized and CYCLE Kids has been a perfect collaboration. Ian Dewar, USA Partnership Manager at Specialized said, “Specialized is proud to partner with CYCLE Kids and to help our local dealers forge a lasting link into their community. Teaching kids to ride and to live healthy lives is a first start in creating an environment that promotes cycling to everyone. We could not have picked a better partner to launch our Likes for Bikes program.”
